A705 (Entry/Intermediate) – Coated Steel/Nickel Chromium wound on G, D, A, E = Plated Steel          

Ball-end winding colour. G - Black, D - Sea Green, A - Blue, E - Red 

 Peg-ends colours = All Red

These Alice strings for your Violin are an excellent affordable upgrade having a softer sound, not too harsh, for an Entry Level Violin or indeed is improving Intermediate violin's sound too. I have fitted some very recently to great effect, highly recommended.This is a leading make of string often found 'factory fitted' to violins on the production line, certainly a must do if your violin after checking sound posts etc,.. is still too sharp and harsh in the sound especially on the G and D strings.2
