Antique Victorian Amethyst Brooch w/ Brass Filigree & Hinged Clip; Up for sale is the Victorian style amethyst brooch mounted a brass hinged clip, dated late 19^th, early 20^th century. The brooch features eight oval-shaped cut amethysts arrayed as flower petals and is decorated with brass floral filigree. The amethysts cut at both upper and back sides are inserted into the brass frames and linked by seven tiny amethysts. The hinged clip functions well. No marks are found.

Measures: Brooch, 2 ½” high (or 4” high, with the extension of the hinged clip) x 2” wide; Cut Amethysts, each 1” long x ½” wide. Weight, 1.2 oz (34 grams). Condition: Very good, no issues to the cut amethysts, no damage to the brass work.
