Quality, thick, glossy pages ~ pop-ups cover two pages at a time.

 I love books!  Unsure of what befell this book - but found it packed as a complete set of four 

PopUp Favorite Fairy Tales books.  Checking them out, I found that one page (the first one) in 

Sleeping Beauty had suffered a tear.   They were not shrink-wrapped, so the tear may have 

been due to a browsing customer who did not report it to the storekeeper.  It was not put in 

with 'hurt-books' inventory - so I believe that I was the first one to find it that way else it 

would not have been in the inventory as 'new'.   There are four titles by this illustrator.   The 

other three are undamaged new.  However,  they seem to be rather unusual books without 

dates,  ISBN number or other information.   I have since that time found both of those 

pieces of information and included them here.    The illustrations are outstanding and materials 

of durable quality and since I have some skills with repairing such things - I took photographs 

of the way I found it and then I repaired it and decided to keep the set whole.   I've made a 

special listing for the set and very special pricing.  I then had to list each one separately in 

order to present them to you for sale.  The prices in those listings are high - though found 

online at the prices we are listing them for.  I think that the set deserves to be adopted as a 

'family' and you will find the price much better than buying single copies of the other three 

titles.   If all four titles are still available when you find this - contact us and we will sell you

the whole set for $67.77 if you order all 4 at the same time.

The repair was made first with LOCTITE super glue and clamp - then after a few hours - I 

unclamped it,  taped over the tear and took a few more photos to show how it looks afterward.  

If you happen to love pop-ups - this little library of 4 will be a treasure to you as it was to me 

due to the exquisite full-page scenes (and the vulnerability) in all the 4 books offered here 

together as a little library.    I would use discretion and caution children about their fragility 

(as with all pop-ups) before allowing them to experience them.  I have seen few full page pop-up 

books of this quality and detail - so please don't misunderstand my cautioning - the books are 

extraordinarily well made/designed.   There are very few of this particular title - probably 

because the first page may have succumbed to its' viewing.
