Condition Continued: This is the case on the blank versos of the illustrated end papers and also on a couple of early illustrated pages. After that, when it occurs, it is typically anywhere from a couple to a handful of small spots (minor foxing) (see photo of title page). You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. It's very clean. It is rated it only Good mainly due to the small loss off the bottom edge of the front cover (see first photo). It also has very tiny loss at the spine ends and on the rear cover just adjacent to the bottom spine end. There are three very thin edge tears on the jacket, two are visible but not conspicuous, one off the top edge and one off the bottom edge of the rear cover. The jacket is NOT price-clipped. There are very thin tucking-in clips at the four corners of the flaps. These white flaps are in very good shape but do have some light spotting/foxing. I've have the jacket in a fitted protective cover for as long as I've owned it. I've priced this book well below the one or two other dust jacketed first editions. Also, if you notice a difference in the photos, I used a phone for the 1st and 3rd because the scanner I typically use was creating a line of glare (there's still a little) off the plastic protective cover.
