This Lot contains two antique documents pertaining to the World's Fair in Chicago 1893. The first is a Memorial booklet outlining with maps and dates the achievements from Columbus' voyage to the time of the fair. It also gives some background on Chicago and the fair grounds. Nice oversized document full of maps and illustrations. Roughly 40 pages.
The second document is a collection of paintings on display at the World's Fair. Again, nice large size. Sharp copies of the works with a paragraph or so for each of background info. This document only contains pages 21-36. I am not sure how big the full booklet would've been.
