"Captn Teach alias Blackbeard"
English pirate captain Edward Teach (better known as Blackbeard) is depicted in front of a treasure ship, with smoking dreadlocks. Illustration is from a 1736 edition of the classic book, The History and Lives of All the Most Notorious Pirates, and Their Crews, first published in England in 1724. The infamous buccaneer was captured and killed off Ocracoke Island, North Carolina, in 1718.
This black-and-white image is available as a quality matted print in two sizes that fit standard frames:
- 5x7 print (1st photo) is matted to 8x10 inches.
- 8x10 print (2nd photo) is matted to 11x14 inches.
Printed with inkjet pigment inks on heavy opaque paper. Off-white matte; backing board with label. All acid-free. Sealed in a clear acetate sleeve.
