Up for sale is one (1) new genuine SKB/Franzen 1401 Buckle/Draw Latch replacement kit (Chrome/silver). Includes latch and standard silver or black #6-20 (M3.5) mounting screws, but you may need to supply your own screws or re-use your existing ones for some cases depending on thickness. The included #6-20 x 5/16" (M3.5x8mm) screws are for the main latch body, and the two slightly longer #6-20 x 3/8" (M3.5x10mm) screws are for the smaller catch piece. 
The first time you install the screws they will be tight as they are cutting new threads into the posts. The screws must be screwed in straight to avoid binding and breaking. The screws must also not be too long otherwise they will bottom-out and break the mounting post. Tapping the mounting posts first may be required for certain types of mounting hardware.
Compatible with Franzen 1400 key (not included, see my other listings). This is a common latch used for:

• Luggage cases
• Hard travel cases (SKB, REI OSCOR 5000E)
• Hardshell Guitar cases (such as the Fender Plus and some newer Rickenbacker 330/600/4000 cases)
• Some Motorcycle Saddlebags (Harley Davidson, Kawasaki, Yamaha Stratoliner 2006-2010). (Note that this is the short-standoff version, make sure you don't need the long-standoff version!)
