Genistein is a naturally occurring compound that is most commonly found in various legumes (commonly soy).  This isoflavone and phytoestrogen is a highly regarded skincare ingredient due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.  Genistein is also known for providing UV protection, conditioning the skin, and supporting collagen growth, which makes it a very effective component in anti-aging cosmetic products as well as lotions and moisturizers.  This genistein is derived from Sophora Japonica and has been assayed at 98+% pure.  At 40, genistein is soluble in Labrasol (51.17mg/g), PEG400 (101.12mg/g), propylene glycol (12.29mg/g), ethanol (16.49mg/g), polysorbate 80 (66.08mg/g), and Cremophor RH 40 (53.74mg/g).  This should be used at a 0.5-1% final concentration in your formulations.  This is intended for use in skincare formulations only and should not be directly applied to skin, consumed, or used internally any other way.
