This listing is for a set of two luncheon plates in the "7587" design. The fine porcelain plates, which measure 8-3/8" in diameter, were manufactured in Selb, Bavaria, Germany by Hutschenreuther. The pattern has since been retired. These plates are from the Turvel collection and feature a multicolored floral motif and gold trim. This pattern is extremely scarce with very few pieces in circulation.

THE MAIN COURSE

You'll find these luncheon plates to be, at worst, in near-mint condition with only extremely minimal, virtually nonexistent, and infinitesimal surface wear. (If I see even a single utensil mark or the most insignificant scratch, I don't list an item as mint). Some of the plates are in mint, like new condition with absolutely no surface wear at all. Whether mint or near mint, the decor and gold trim are pristine and unblemished, the colors are vivid with no fading or discoloration, and the glaze shines like new. Additionally, all of the plates are completely free of cracks, chips, nicks, crazing, stains, repairs, permanent hard water deposits, and detergent residue. These luncheon plates are in far better condition than what is typically considered to be "excellent" or "gently used".
