Scarce autographed 4.5" x 9" pristine Gutmann of Vienna cabinet photograph of the Austrian operetta soprano.

Zswerenz (1876-1947) was one of the great operetta sopranos of her time, creating lead soprano roles for Lehar, Nedbal, Eysler, Fall, Kalman, Ziehrer and others.  Her most important creations include; Princess Fedora Palinska in Kalman's Zirkusprinzessin, Helena Zaremba in Nedbal's Polenblut and Zorika in Lehar's Zigeunerliebe but there were many, many more.  In the aggregate she was more important than Mizzi Gunther and a much rarer autograph, especially this size.
