The cone lined cap provides a wedge type seal that not only seals across the top of the container, but also seals across the inside diameter. Provides a much tighter leak-proof seal then PE foam and foil lined caps.  This type of cap liner is mostly used when shipping liquid products in glass so container will not leak.
