#10 Separating, Vislon, Double Pull Sliders

Metal sliders are corrosion resistant, double pull. "Double Pull" is 1 slider that you can zip from either side", 2 pulls, not 2 sliders. Separating zippers separate at one end. Like a Coat or Jacket would. Note...Most Jackets only have one slider/pull. These zippers are double slider/pulls. Like a reversable jacket would have.

Zippers are size # 10. 

Teeth measure 10 mm wide when zipped together, and made from Delrin.  

Delrin is a lightweight, low-friction, and wear-resistant plastic, made by DuPont. 

The width of the zipper is about 1 1/2 inches wide. 

The lengths are...12", 16" 18", 20”, 21", 24", 30", 34”, 36", 40”,  42", 46”, 48", 54", 60", 66", 68”,  72", 74", 78", 80”, 84", 90", 96", 100”, 108", 110”, 120", 144", 180", and 240.

        Vislon Separating zippers are extremely strong and lightweight and different from conventional zippers, because the teeth are made from Delrin and the tape is polyester. Because of the unique properties of the Vislon zipper, it has a wide variety of industrial, consumer and military applications where environmental conditions reduce the effectiveness of metal zippers. The vislon zipper is corrosion resistant. The zipper is self lubricating and operates smoothly despite mud, sand, etc. The color is an integral part of the molding material, creating a finish that does not rub off, peel or chip. Has excellent resistance to heat (up o 360 degrees F) and cold to 60 degrees F below 0). Melts at 480 degrees F. Resistance to chemicals further extends the use for the Vislon Zipper beyond the scope of conventional metal zippers.
