About Titanium

Titanium offers excellent corrosion resistance to acids, chlorides and salt. 

Titanium and the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal and has a wide continuous service temperature range of -322°F to 1100°F.

Titanium is approximately 45% lighter than steel, 60% heavier than aluminium and more than three times stronger than both. 

Specifications

• Grade 2 Titanium rod is the most common grade and will suit most applications. 
• Diameter 2.4mm
• 50 sticks per pack (Approximate)
• 1kg Pack
• AWS Spec. A5.16, Class ERTi-2 (CP-Ti Commercial Pure). 
• 900mm length rods
• It is generally the most readily available in all product forms and has the lowest cost.
• For best results carefully clean the weld surface area to fully remove contaminants.
• Batch certificate of conformance can be supplied upon request. 
• Note: Rods may vary in length but will total weight will be the same
