Ford Transit Van Loom S/Steel Guards.
This sale is for the S/S guards only NO plastic tubes.
We have made these guards as we had a problem with thieves and could not find a quality cost effective guard.
Stainless steel is a lot harder than mild steel and does not rust, all this makes for a very strong guard.
A new Ford Wiring loom for the O/S door will set you back £70 +( we know to our cost ) so we have made these guards to help protect your loom from thieves.
Our loom guards are made of stainless steel and are supplied with 4 x M5 zinc plated bolts and nyloc nuts and washers OR 4 x Pop rivets or 4 x Pan Pozi Self Drill/Self Tapper* for each guard, a set consists of 2 guards and the fixings for both rear doors, offside and nearside. We supply 2 guards as we had both sides tampered with.
The guard has a return fold to give the plastic loom tube a smooth edge to rest against when the rear doors are wide open, it is even more relevant for transits were the doors open all the way and touch the side panel of the van.
The guards have 4 x pre-drilled holes for you to bolt, or if you do not want to take the light cluster out, rivet the guards in place.
No plastic tubing, rubber parts or the van are included only the Stainless steel guards.

This is a low-tech, but highly effective security device.
Fit them before you have problems to save you allot of hassle and money.
Once broken into the van cannot be locked until the wiring loom is replaced.

The second picture shows the van doors shut, as the guards are stainless steel the guards can be seen and therefore have a visual deterrent effect.
