27"h x 20"w Image size. 35.25"h x 28"w overall.

Reproduced from an original watercolor. Signed and numbered lithograph on Coventry archival quality paper, edition of 750. Published in 1989 by Evelyne Brigeois. The print was framed for our gallery. Because we closed our gallery and decided to operate online, we removed the matted print from the frame. We simply did not have the space to store the hundreds of framed items that we owned.

Evelyne Brigeois is a self-taught watercolor artist who focuses on scenes of the Greek islands. Evelyn had lived in France, England, Germany and Spain before emigrating to America in 1980 and moving to California to focus on her painting.

Evelyne paints in a tight, precise style all her own, capturing the tiny details which evoke the visual and emotional landscape of the region. Brigeois is especially inspired by the landscapes of Greece not only for the bright blue skies and pure white light, but also because they call to mind her childhood in a tiny French village.

The print will be shipped flat.
