This module is based on the AMS1117 regulator (AMS1117-3.3V).
This is a 3.3volt output module. Useful for devices that require a stable 3.3volt supply such as some Arduino or Raspberry modules/circuits.
Commonly used to step down 5volts down to 3.3volts.
Connections are made using jumper cables or soldered directly onto the jumper pins.
Input: 4.75v - 12v DC
Output: 3.3v DC
Maximum output current: 800 mA (heatsink may be required if input voltage is significantly different from output or close to max current is continuously needed, use the web to seek further information if in doubt)
Connections via pairs of jumper pins.
Male-to-Female 4-way jumper cable included (can be split into 2x 2-way).
On board LED to show power.
Size approximately 27mm by 11mm, height 12mm including jumper pins.
