1.5L bottle of the newest VW/Audi concentrated G13 coolant. Mixed stock in various different manufacturers packaging, including Meyle, Vaico and factory VW. All are made in Germany from the same original source. G13 provides the same exceptional cooling and antifreeze performance as G12(+)(++), but is manufactured in an environmentally sustainable way, using glycerin instead of glycol. Glycerin is a bi-product of biodiesel production and is much less harmful to the environment than glycol-based products (which are produced from mineral oils). 

In comparison with the manufacture of traditional coolant additive, it is estimated that G13 production will produce a minimum 11% lower CO2 emissions. The coolant requirements of VW vehicles are very specific. Genuine coolant additive is the only formulation that protects its aluminum engines from internal corrosion, with a combination of corrosion inhibitors and a pH neutralizing agent. 

Order three bottles for a full coolant flush. This red/purple/pink organic coolant mixes with the previous generation red coolants. This listing is intended for purchase with one of our timing belt kits, though we can sell it by itself too (only for shipping in the USA). 

We recommend 3 bottles for cold climates and two bottles for hot climates.  Note that we have free shipping on any quantity above one that you purchase.
