This listing is for a Fully Reconditioned Ford Transit 2.4 TDCI MK7 reconditioned engine with a guarantee (12 months / unlimited  miles whichever comes first). 
SOLD ON A EXCHANGE BASIS (ADDITIONAL £300 SURCHARGE UNTIL WE RECEIVE YOUR SCRAP ENGINE)
The engine code is PHFA which will fit a rear wheel drive transit from 2006-2012.

What you will receive - The engine is completely stripped, degreased and washed. All parts are examined. 
New parts are fitted and built to a high standard by our Ford Transit Engine Experts to give a quality engine.

  • Brand New Bottom end bearings (main and big ends)
  • Brand New Cylinder head gasket
  • Brand New oil pump
  • Brand New Chain Guides and chain (timing kit)
  • Brand New Seals
  • Brand New Rear Crankshaft Seal
  • Brand New Piston Rings and Pistons or only piston rings
  • Brand New Sump
  • etc...
if you send your diesel pump we can fit it into timing for £50.

What you will not receive (these can be transferred from your own engine)
  • Injectors
  • sensors
  • Auxiliary pipes 
  • sensors (any sensors fitted with the engine are not guaranteed)
  • Diesel pump (one can be fitted, however it will not be gauranteed)

NOTE: 
  • blocks with holes - £200 + exchange - £100 refund from surcharge
  • Cracked cylinder heads - £100 charge - you will be refunded £200.

  • This item is a Fully refurbished / reconditioned / rebuilt engine with a 12 month or unlimited miles guarantee built by our Ford Transit Engine Experts to a High Standard of Quality. 
  • The engine is in good working order.

Delivery:
  • Delivery prices are for mainland England, weekends are not a pallet delivery day. 
  • The item will be delivered to your paypal address,

Refund and returns - We try hard to give you a good customer service level, If for any reason you are not happy with the item below is the return info.
  • 30 days to change your mind after receiving the item - The item must be unused. You are responsible for the return postage. Contact us before sending the item back.
  • If the item is received damaged in transit, please do NOT sign for it, and refuse to accept the delivery.

Surcharge Refund:
  • When your engine arrives it will be examined.
  • you will then be charged the appropriate amount 
  • Money laundering laws mean, you will be refunded the method you pay. 
  • Credit or Debit Cards- Refunds back onto your card
  • Bank Transfer - you will be refunded with a bank transfer
  • Paypal - After 60 days Paypal may not allow you to obtain a refund. A payment can then be made to your Paypal, however you will be responsible for the fees.

Delivery - delivery of reconditioned engine
  • We send you out a reconditioned unit, all parts are transferred over to our engine (within 2 weeks if paying by Paypal / within 4 weeks if cash/bank transfer or credit/debit card)
  • You can send the old engine back or you can contact us to collect your old engine.
  • The faulty engine is received and checked, you then receive your agreed refundable deposit.
Guarantee
unlimited miles or 1 year - terms and conditions apply. 

You need to send the engine back to us for 12 months Guarantee claims.


Note: Your old engine may have failed due to a fault in the system, if this pre-existing condition is not checked your new engine may blow up prematurely. Some examples include turbo failure, blocked pipes, etc...

NOTE: THIS ENGINE IS REMANUFACTURED AND THEREFORE THE "START UP and RUNNING IN" INFORMATION WHICH IS SENT WITH THE ENGINE MUST BE FOLLOWED.
Running In
The engine must not be driven too fast or in high revs. 
We recommend 30MPH for the first 100miles, 40MPH for 101-200miles.50MPH 201-300miles...etc...
Going to fast too soon will cause excessive oil consumption.
The Ford User manual describes the break in procedure and also states you should expect oil loss for the first 3000miles. 
We therefore request customers to regularly check the oil and water.
