This is an authentic reproduction of a PAF butyrate bobbin from the late 50's. The bobbins have an amazing amount of detail from the original PAF bobbin including surface texture, offset square inside hole for slug side bobbin, and the unmistakable butyrate smell!

**Please note that butyrate bobbins don't have a gloss smooth finish like ABS bobbins. The finish is dull like the original PAF bobbins.

***Butyrate bobbins can become warped if potted. Originally PAF pickups were not potted. If you intend to pot your pickup you will need to use a lower temperature wax then you would normally use for ABS plastic bobbins.

Shipping

Orders placed before 2 pm Monday-Friday(US EST). No shipping on weekends and holidays. Custom products can take up to 2 days to ship.
International Shipping

Our economy international service or USPS First Class Service is provided by APC Postal Logistics and includes full tracking. The economy international shipping service(APC Postal Logistics) usually arrives within 2-4 weeks with most being delivered by your local post office. Every now and then an order can take a little longer to arrive. Most shipping delays are related to the receiving country's customs processing or problems with shipping addresses. Please make sure to include a valid phone number with your order in case they need to contact you.

All international shipments include carrier insurance with a minimum of $100 of insurance. A claim for a lost package cannot be opened until at least 6 weeks have passed.

International Buyers – Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost unless specified on your order that is collected by eBay (ie, VAT). Returns

Returns are accepted as long as the item is returned in brand new condition and in its original(undamaged) package. Please take care of the item if there is any possibility of a return. Refunds will not be issued for items that show any signs of damage uncluding to the original packaging, ie. scratches, tool marks, attempted modification, etc.
