Heavy-wall, borosilicate glass tubes are designed for polymerization and analysis of halogens by thermal decomposition in the presence of lime. They feature the unique Ace-Thred closure system for assurance of a secure seal. Tubes maintain a recommended operating pressure of 150psi. Hydrogenation bottles also feature the Ace-Thred closure system and are flat bottom vessels. These bottles maintain a lower recommended operating pressure, not to exceed 60psi. Tubes and bottles are supplied without plugs and O-rings. Tube length is measured below the thread. Tube pressure ratings are determined at 120°C (248°F). Bottle pressure ratings are determined at ambient temperature. All tubes are pressure tested at 1.5 times the rating.
