How Optical Edge Finders work:

  • When held in a 20mm collet chuck or side lock holding device and touched against the work piece, the red light illuminates
  • The probe also emits an audible sound to enable the unit to be used in deep holes or when the red light can't be seen
  • The ball is spring-loaded in case of over travel
  • Accuracy within 0.005mm
  • This unit is Aprox 160mm in Length
  • Comes tested & supplied with brand new battery.
