Fit the Euro 4 1.8L in Connect, Focus, galaxy, C-Max, S-Max, Mondeo

Thanks for looking.
This is made from Laser cut 1.5 Stainless Steel. It has a hole so as not to have the engine management light (EML), though it will rarely come on when fully block on the Euro4 engine, it will come on in the Euro 5 engine( they have a DPF).
So would rather restrict, not block, so there is still some EGR function. I do have it without a hole if you would rather, it is item number
111437402852, but there is a slim chance the EML may come on when fitted. It has been rumbled to make it smooth and give it an abraded surface that also helps give a better seal, plus removes all sharp edges.
It gives a cleaner pickup at lower revs because it stops exhaust gas being recycled. If the EGR valve is playing up, then the improvement can be quite dramatic
Easy to fit, just loosen the 2 bolts, slip in the plate between the inlet manifold and the gasket, then tighten up the bolts.

This fits the Motorized operated EGR valve type pictured above in the header pictures only, so please check before buying as the years will cross over with the vacuum operated one's, which I do have listed as item number 111054841082. The Euro 3 and 4 are also different sizes, so are not interchangeable.
Vacuum valve = Euro3 and is item number 110898426952

This plate fits the Euro4 Motorized valve in FORD 1.8  TDCi

   Connect 1.8   TDCi  2006 on
   Focus and C-Max 1.8 TDCi  2005 on
   Mondeo  2007 on
   Galaxy 2006 on
   S-Max 2005 on
   C-Max  2006 on

 Benefits of blocking EGR

   1.  Cleaner engine oil helping to give longer engine life.

   2.  Turbo spooling up quicker, and at lower revs

   3.  Prevents soot build up in intake manifold, and valve's, which will lower the power

   4.  Smoother drive and quite often better economy

   5.  Help to pass the MOT, as black smoke output is tested for (UK)

All plates are designed and researched by me in house over many years. I do not buy or have ever brought from other seller (most sellers are just engineering firms that have brought from each other-along with the repeated mistakes or Chinese drop shops), and have no idea about car engines, fault codes, and what can be causing them. I have been a mechanic for many years, and my number 4 son is also a trained mechanic of some years
