Red - triangular warning tags

This tag is appropriate to new furniture with a limited range of cover fabrics. The cover fabric is not match resistant but the furniture has an interliner which passes the specified test. The furniture meets the filling requirements and is cigarette resistant.

What happens if you don’t comply with these legal requirements

These requirements are detailed in the furniture and furnishings (fire) (safety) regulations 1988.

Failure to comply is an offence under the Consumer Protection Act 1987 and any business persons in the chain of supply are liable for prosecution. On conviction the courts may impose a fine of upto £5000 or imprisonment for up to 6 months, or both.

In addition furniture may be seized by Trading standards Officers and forefeited by the courts.

Returns

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase we will be happy to refund the amount paid provided the goods are returned to us within 7 days unused and in the original packaging. Please note any postage and packaging costs incurred cannot be refunded
