Geniune Furuno FM-8900s VHF radiotelephone front control panel / display unit.

This is the complete top panel assembly (not the full transceiver!) that was left over after a newer unit was installed. Perfect for repairs, spare parts, training simulators, etc. Can be restored and fully used!

Condition:

Overall plating and cosmetics are in excellent condition 

Only minor cosmetic marks on front panel (normal use)

Screen has light scratches from normal use, these can be polished out (visible only under a flashlight)

Cosmetic wear or the number "6" key (does not affect functionality)

All other controls, knobs, buttons and keypad are functional

Known issue: the "PUSH TO ENTER" rotary / encoder / enter button on the right side does not function properly. This is a common and fixable problem (clean contacts, re-solder or worst case scenario-replace the switch)

Internals are clean and complete. See detailed photos of the panel PCB. Furuno ribbon cables, speaker, wiring, etc. 

This panel includes the full keypad, LCD display area, volume/squelch/alarm controls, distress button area cover, handset connector, channel knob, and all front-panel functions. Ideal donor for someone repairing another FM-8900s or building a realistic simulator.
