VDO Part Number 11377603979 is the Valvetronic Actuator for BMW engines, also known as:

Valvetronic Servo Motor / Eccentric Shaft Actuator / Variable valve lift actuator

This part is originally manufactured by VDO as OEM component, compatible with BMW N20, N26, N55 and S55 series engines.

VDO 11377603979 is a Valvetronic actuator (eccentric shaft actuator) used on BMW N20, N26, N55 and S55 engines. It controls the intake valve lift through the Valvetronic system. A failed actuator may cause check engine lights, rough idle, loss of power, poor throttle response, starting issues, and Valvetronic-related fault codes such as 135808, 135A08, 2DCE, and 2E0F. Replacing the actuator restores proper Valvetronic operation and engine performance when the actuator itself is the source of the fault.

1. Check Engine Light On
The most typical failure performance.

2. Engine Idle Vibration
Unstable idle speed, rough idle when cold, engine stalling easily.

3. Loss of Power & Slow Acceleration
Delayed throttle response, reduced power output, vehicle enters limp mode.

4. Difficult Starting
Long cranking time or failure to start in severe cases.

5. Abnormal Noise
Continuous ticking sound near valve cover, which is a typical sign of worn Valvetronic motor or eccentric shaft.

Package Includes: 1*Valvetronic Actuator Motor
