• Paint - Permanent and expensive, in order to remove you will need to repaint your bumper. More money wasted. Not ideal for leased vehicles.
• Hard Covers - Some are clip on while others are Velcro or double sided tape. Water, dirt and debris get trapped between your cover and light. Can be easily ripped off by vandals.
• 17-20 mil films - With films as thick as waterbed liners you may think you are getting optimal protection, but this is not the case. These films cannot contour around edges as easily and will not wrap around edges leaving a thin strip along the edge exposing your stock light. Also these have very noticeable orange peel.
• Static Cling - Biggest complaints among users - falls off at highway speeds, car washes and can be easily ripped off by vandals if you can get it to stick initially.
