Dolores del Rio was a Mexican-born movie star with international appeal and a meteoric career in 
1920s Hollywood. Her films include: The Loves of Carmen (1927), Ramona (1928), Flying Down to
Rio (1933), Madame du Barry (1934), Journey into Fear (1942), Cheyenne Autumn (1964). She was
 married to Cedric Gibbons (1930-1940), famous MGM art director and credited as the designer of
 the "Oscar" statuette in 1928. She also had a four-year relationship with Orson Welles, while he
was filming Citizen Kane
