William Morris Contract & AGVA Rider


EDDIE CANTOR. Cantor's William Morris Agency Contract Signed and Dated ("Eddie Cantor") in blue ink, Beverly Hills, California. The three year contract was effective as of April 12, 1946 until April 11, 1949.



8 1/2" x 12", 2 pages marked "agent's copy" in type at top of first page. Very good (short closed tear slightly affecting Cantor's signature). Also signed by William Morris Agent, J. Magid at the bottom of page 2.

With attached 1 page AGVA Regulations rider (8 1/2" x 11") initialed twice by Eddie Cantor and once by J. Magid for William Morris.



Cantor (1892-1964), born  Edward Israel Itskowitz, January 31, 1892, New York City; died October 10, 1964, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California; American  vaudeville , radio and film entertainer; film career 1926-1952: "Strike Me Pink" 1936; "Rhapsody in Blue" 1945; won Special Academy Award 1956.
