1981 Puma GTI 1600

Very rare Brazil manufactured and imported 1981 Puma GTI. Built in 1981 at a Puma factory located in Sao Paolo Brazil. Only 610 GTI’s ever built and only 300 of them exported to North America during the production run between 1981 and 1985. Built on a VW chassis, Air cooled rear mounted VW 1600CC Engine - Upgraded to 1835CC . All original parts other than the commonly known engine modification enhancement that gives it significant boost in horsepower. These are well known, easy to maintain engines because of the commonly available upgraded parts and rear mounted Air cooled flat 4 Cylinder VW motor.  Fiberglass body design by Rino Malzoni.
