Authentic United States Mint 2026 Enduring Liberty Half Dollar struck at the West Point Mint and bearing the “W” mint mark, featuring the special 9/11 privy mark. 2,983 examples were presented by the U.S. Mint to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum (one for each name on the Memorial). An additional 250,000 were shipped to Federal Reserve Banks on September 14, 2026, for random release into circulation. These West Point coins are distinct from the separate Philadelphia “NEVER FORGET” privy versions sold in rolls and bags.
