Basic Diagnostic Steps
  1. Prepare: Park in a well-ventilated space, wear proper eye protection and gloves and let the engine fully cool down.
  2. Connect: Tap into the fuel line using the included GM TBI adapter fitting (typically placed at the fuel filter connection or the throttle body inlet).
  3. Prime: Turn the vehicle ignition switch to the "Run" position without cranking the engine to prime the system.
  4. Read: Check the gauge reading against your vehicle's factory specifications. Leave it for 5 to 10 minutes to verify if the system holds steady residual pressure.
  5. Relieve: Use the integrated relief valve button to safely drain the pressurized gasoline out of the tool into an approved container before disconnecting the lines.
