   This is a "BRAND NEW" VERY HIGH END OEM Style 12" Tapered BLACK Antenna Mast. Sick of snapping your antenna on your Can-Am Spyder? Expensive replacement right!! Well this will be the last time you will be replacing your antenna. This antenna will thread directly into your current factory Spyder antenna base. After it is threaded in you will simply pop the Can-Am rubber grommet boot over our antenna. Our antenna has three unique features that set it apart from the rest.

* Spring Steel Construction - This means that when it is bent it WILL spring back to its original position. Due to higher costs to manufacture Spring Steel parts, it is extremely hard to find an antenna in today’s market that will match the quality level of this antenna.  Rather you will find endless options of aftermarket antenna's that will leave you shopping for another antenna once its weak construction bends, looks goofy, and stays that way.

* Stainless Steel Threads - Only the best materials are used with our antennas by using stainless steel threads. These are the threads that connect the antenna to the fender base on your vehicle. Most connectors or threads used today look to be stainless but are brass coated to look like stainless. We have found that Brass connectors will often break going threw car washes, so our masts will never have brass threads or brass threaded adaptors.

* Tapered Rod - This means at the base where it screws onto your vehicle the rod is wider and tapers to a smaller rod size at the tip.   * When looking at other venders who sell this same item, if they don't state that there masts are made of spring stainless, then it will bend and stay BENT. FYI  

   So if you're looking for a direct fit replacement mast that is made of high end spring stainless along with stainless steel threads, and are looking for the best reception available, this is the mast, it will simply not stay bent. There will be a reduction in antenna performance due to shortened antenna size - as with any AM/FM antenna mast, the longer the mast the better the reception. Loss of reception will be based on location; if you’re in the middle of New York City the performance reduction will be less than if you were located in the middle of the Sierra Desert. This is due to relative location from broadcasting stations. The closer you are to a broadcasting site, the better reception you will get. Satellite Radio, Navigation or Bluetooth not affected.
