The year was 1968. The designers had just debuted Safari collections and animal motifs were rampant. This hat is from that era as my consignor recalls seeing it in one of the fashion magazines of the era and hunted it down in New York City.
This hat is so chic; it epitomizes the carefree and mod lifestyle of the late 1960’s. The body of the hat is wool with a faux fur leopard banding around the base of the crown. A grosgrain string tie is on either side and really amps up the chic!
The hat is in near mint condition – no smells, holes or stains.
This listing is only for the CLOVER LANE Pumpkin/Leopard Wool Hat. Any other items that may be pictured are not included in this listing but are available in my store. Please ask any questions in advance as there are no returns on this item. There are many photos both with and without flash.
