This is an auction for a large, highly specified SSL 8056GB+ Analogue Audio Mixing Console in superb condition.

This production console was ordered by CBS, installed in Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway in New York City.

It was used only for CBS Late Show with David Letterman from 1993 to 2008.

 

The console was used for live broadcast of thus it was meticulously maintained by CBS engineering department.

 

We bought the console in 2008 and installed it in our studio Gold Room where it was used for predominantly for mixing.

 

The console is fitted with 48 mono mic/line channels and 8 stereo line channels.
