These DEI Aluminized Plug Wire Sheaths are made from a hi-temp glass fiber fabric bonded to reflective aluminized material, Aluminized Plug Wire Sheaths were designed as an inexpensive alternative for protecting specific spots on ignition wires and boots from heat sources.

They reflect radiant heat to prevent wires and boots from burning or cracking which could lead to arcing and engine misfire.
