Cute Sony TA-515 Amplifier.

Made in 1978.

In very good condition - a mark along the top right edge but overall very nice.

With user manual.

Stepped tone controls.

Solidly built, feels the biz.

Sweet, mellow & punchy, easy going sound.

Nice loudness button for late night mellow listening sessions :)

VU meters look lovely, which are working & light up. The tuner input lamp doesn't illuminate but the other4 do.

The speaker terminals don't accept really chunky cable but as long as it's of decent thickness it should be ok.

Has a reverb effect - not tried that, I think it's for recording or microphone effects. When turned right down there is a little notch which feels off.

Lovely sound on vinyl, been using it for the past 2 weeks & really enjoyed it but I just won a retro Pioneer receiver which I fancy using.

Only issue with the amp is that the power lead isn't awfully long, but as long as it's quite near a socket it's easily lived with, or you could always add an IEC adaptor, but I never felt the need.

Will be missed as I love Sony...
