A beautiful solid 18ct gold antique opal ring, an Edwardian era piece which was made circa 1910. This ring is magical, a rare find! She is centrally set with a large domed round opal cabochon. The opal measures 11 x 10 mms in size, a large and gorgeous natural earth mined opal. It has a semi-transparent white/yellow base and showcases lots of vibrant rainbow flashes on the surface, mainly in blues and greens. The opal is held in elegant fine split prongs and has tapered detailing to the shoulders, whith a beautiful scalloped cut uot under gallery. Every attention to detail has been though about in this quality antique piece of jewellery.
