all you need is a laptop and this cable,

Compatible with all BMW cars fitted with OBD port up until 03/07 when the diagnostic protocol 

was changed to D-Can (still uses OBD port but with Different data manipulation)

please check if you are unsure which you have, this cable is also compatible with the earlier type

under bonnet round 20 pin diagnostics socket found on earlier BMW cars like the E34 & E36

all you need is a 16 to 20 pin adapter cable available on eBay for around £6 and this

will just plug into our cable and allow you to use it with the FREE Software provided,

As used by BMW specialists up and down the country this is all you will need to keep 

on top of your BMW's sophisticated on board electronics also as and when service lights

need resetting.  (service lights - Airbag lights - ABS lights etc. the list goes on)

As well as performing simple service procedures you will be able to read a specific fault codes

Diagnose the part that has the fault, create a test plan to ensure that is the part that's giving the problem 

so you can then replace the part knowing its the correct part first time every time!
