At the widest point the razor is over 1 inch (I measure 1.045" with calipers).  There are a few spots of pitting but not much.  The black horn scales are excellent with not a bug bite, chip, crack or stress line and has the big brass rivet caps and a pewter wedge.  The tang is marked "Manufactured By Wade & Butcher, Sheffield".  The blade etch is "THE CELEBRATED HOLLOW GROUND RAZOR FOR BARBER'S USE".  It is still in the big Wade & Butcher box which is in pretty good shape with a little hole on the end.  Everything is original with no repairs.  Pretty rare to see one of these in such good condition.

Not all the razors I have to sell are without problems, but I will do my best with pictures and descriptions to let you know what you are bidding on.  Be assured that I will not be happy with an auction unless you are.  Thanks for your interest in my listings.

NOTE: Most of the razors I am putting up are straight out of my display cases, so they are clean and ready to go directly into your collection. Email any questions.  Please see my other razor auctions, happy to combine.   First Class mail to the U.S is $2.75 plus $.75 for each additional razor shipped on multiple auction wins, Canada and the UK is $5.00, rest of the world is $6.00. Thanks, Phil.
