A solid VG copy. Boardshave two or three minor splash stains and a little loss of gilt to spine but otherwise very well preserved with barely any signs of wear.

Binding is still tight and supple, there is no looseness or spine lean.

Content is clean and white with just a fraction of smudging and one or two dots of foxing to prelims and end papers. No inscriptions, creases, tears etc. An innocuous previous owner blindstamp to bottom corner of rear end paper.

Page edges are uniformly age toned but not heavily browned.

Includes a laid in postcard size cutting "Of Swine" which has a penned gift inscription and message to rear.
