Up for sale is a custom-built, 11-inch high performance EV motor.  Motor was tested at over 500 horsepower at the wheels!  Makes more torque than any other gas or diesel engine!!!

This motor is being sold on consignment for a customer.  He had this motor custom built in 2013 at a cost of over $6800.  It was installed in his Mustang for about 3 months, then removed it in favor of dual 9-inch motors.  This motor has seen little use, and has been sitting most of the time.  It was driven fairly hard for the time it was in the car, but it took the abuse quite well.  The motor has very heavy copper windings (triple layer bar stock), and was forced-cooled while installed.  Please note that the cooling system is NOT included with the motor.  The front mounting brackets ARE included with the motor, if you want them.

Measures about 11.5 inches wide, Can be used with any 1000 amp controller, but we recommend a 2000-amp controller for best performance. This motor is extremely well-built, and far superior to any DC motor that you can buy off the shelf.  Has all stainless steel bolts.   

Will easily move any car or truck up to 7000 pounds, but for best performance, 5600 pounds or less is recommended.  This motor was intended to be driven hard, so it can be used for racing.

The motor has not been cleaned since it was removed, but it should be good enough to drop in as-is.  The customer kept the original brushes, but we installed a set of Helwig brushes so that the motor will be operational.  These brushes are single lead, so you should limit your continuous current to under 400 amps.  I believe you can still surge at high as 1500 amps with these brushes.

We don't have the specifications for this motor, but we know it was built with a G.E. armature.  Both the front and rear sections are aluminum.  The front is identical to the Warp 11 motor.  According to the customer, the motor produce over 430 ft/lbs of torque starting at only 600 RPM.  Motor weighs about 240 pounds (not including shipping container).

The motor also have a massive, 1-5/8" drive shaft... which is three times as strong as the keyed shaft on the Warp 11 motor.  This is probably the most powerful motor that you can get in an 11-inch package.

Easily installs in most vehicles with readily-available motor adapter plates, such as the ones for the Warp 9, Warp 11, and HPEVS motors.
