This is the hardlock interface cable to use with your XP laptop that will extract the keyless entry 4 digit system security key code (skc) from the VW's listed below. 

Mini disc program 2.5 is included. Cable only works with this disc. Disc only works with this cable.

Vag-Com and engine code readers do not extract the security code, they need it to enter system 17 instrument cluster, only this vagTACHO extracts the SKC. Then it can also activate a new key.

You will receive brief instructions on how to use the system.

Phone and email support for key activation is offered. No other seller offers support. I do because I use it and I drive Volkswagens, just think about that before buying from another seller. 

Save a trip to the stealership, got buddies, set them up too even if you only read their pin for them! You must be computer savvy and have patience this is a computer program. You can use this over and over, not a one time use like the Gecko system. Dealers cannot provide the skc after they activate a key and another visit will require you to pay again, so any money spent there goes right down the drain.

I only support the key function by email and you can call by phone if the email does not help. You are not only buying the system, you are getting support. 

I do not support ecu flashing or cluster swaps. It does not read the ECU pin, only the cluster pin, which is the same as the current functioning ECU, but it will not read a used ecu that has been installed.

System works with: 

New Beetle from June 1999 to 2005, PASSAT models 2001 through 2005 . MK4 Golf Jetta IV 2000-2005 using AM, DC, DJ, E, F, S or T remote. If you have the H remote or any other letter P, Q for newer VW, the software will not retrieve the security code or function at all (dual k line).

Your new flip key must have a new or virgin transponder chip. Just because it has a new blade does not mean the chip was replaced. Previously programed chips will not work in a different car.
