This is a chance to own what may be the nicest pair of Altec Lansing 416-16B  alnico drivers that you may have the chance to get.  They have been ohm and audibly tested.  They are 16 ohm drivers and register a matching 11.0 ohm reading with my meter.  They sound great with no voice coil rub or distortion.  The cones have no stains, tears, punctures, or creasing.  The same can be said of the dust caps.  The cones are original and have a nice even color that is not faded.  The baskets are in amazing condition as well.  Both labels are present too.  The doping agent is still tacky and evenly distributed.  It does not have any runs.  The push button wire terminals work as they should to hold wiring in place. They have a frequency response of 40Hz to 4kHz, but it is recommended not to cross them over 1.5kHz for best results.  These woofers, because of their performance and size, are great for home or professional audio.  Great Plains Audio has started making these again and charges over $1200 apiece new.  Get the true, hard to come by classics, for a fraction of that price.  These will be packed tremendously well to make it safely to you.  I know how to protect the cones and magnet structures in transit.
