Whitefaced Woodland is one of the finest fibres from the hill breeds.

This is due mainly to the introduction of the Merino into the breed in the early 1800's.

A superb rarer breed for hand spinning and felting

100g braid

35-38micron

Very bouncy fibre, creates a lovely yarn, also suitable for felting.

Due to my hand dyeing techniques no two braids are ever the same, sisters not twins.

That being said, I list each braid I dye separately so you can choose the exact one you want. You can view more from the same dye bath if you want to create a larger project.

You will receive the braid in the photographs.
