NOTE: As many of you know, we are in the process of liquidating much of my childhood collection of baseball cards, including those that were inherited from my father and brother. Nearly 100 years of collecting, as my father started collecting in 1920, with my brother starting in 1953, and I started in 1963.
I have sold 33 of 50 lots so far in 100 card to 2000 card groups. Working on putting together lot number 34/50 now.
A few weeks ago, as we're cleaning out mom and dad's house, we came across 6 old cigar boxes full of baseball cards. These were either my father's or my brother's cards, as I had never seen them before.
There were over 1000 cards in these cigar boxes. They ranged in years from 1952-1969, with a blank back 1948 Satchel Paige RC included for good measure. There were many commons in the group, with approximately 300 star cards. They have been stored in mom's closet for over 60 years. The condition of the cards range from EXMT to MINT.
I have decided to sell these 300 star cards separately. Have sold 197 of the 300 cards so far. So, over the course of the next several weeks, I will be listing these individual cards on Ebay.
I absolutely warrant that these baseball cards are original, authentic, and unaltered. We do not sell reprints or reproductions of any kind. As we all know, grades are subjective, so any grade assigned is based on my experience of over 50 years of collecting baseball cards.
