This is a GM 250 Amp Alternator.

 We use GM's workhorse, the CS-144 series alternator, and build it to our specifications to provide you with the best output for your needs. (Also see our store listing for our 150, 200, and 300 amp versions)

We build these units to provide 140 amps at an idle. That's as much as the original units put out at high RPM. It will plug in to most OEM wiring harnesses for GM vehicles from 1992-2000. Our high output alternator can also be used to upgrade most original externally and internally regulated alternators from 1963 through 2002 year models. This unit is great for applications requiring additional charging capacity such as auxiliary batteries, stereo systems, off-road lighting, etc.
