Original 8 x 10 black & white Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) studio-issued publicity portrait featuring legendary actor William Powell during the height of his Hollywood career.

This classic portrait captures Powell in his trademark sophisticated style and was produced by MGM for newspaper and magazine publicity. Best remembered for The Thin Man series, My Man Godfrey, Libeled Lady, and numerous other MGM classics, William Powell remains one of Hollywood's most admired leading men.

The lower border identifies Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer as the issuing studio, while the lower right corner bears studio publicity reference number 6304. This is an internal MGM publicity identification number used for promotional distribution and is not a still number.
