Here is one fantastic page from an old victorian scrapbook with colored litho trade cards.Unfortunately the scrapbook could not be saved but a few pages remain good in the middle of the book, this page and a few pages of children's drawings I will also be selling this week.The trade cards on this page number ten and every one of them are simply beautiful.My favorite is the..."Happy thought Range from the Pittston stove co, Pittston Pa.Then theres Gowan & stovers Healthful soaps(2) with victorian at play,Then "Purity Baking powder"(2) and 1 Arm & hammer "Cedar Bird".The other side has a stunning card showing 2 sweet victorian ladys a advertisement for "spicer & peckham" Model stoves and rangers.Theres also a nice card for Domestic  sewing machines.Also Mrs.Potts "cold Handle" sad Iron.Finally there is a Very Interesting invitation by"Train" with different directions on the "Buffalo branch of the ERIE LINE the invitation is for the Northen Allegany Teachers Association.This invitation is dated on the base Feb.13 &14 1891.That is the general time period of this bunch of advertising Late 1800's.A fantastic find.I took photo of each so you can see condition. I pack very careful and ship fast!
