Our rustic range All the materials are supplied from a sustainable source or reclaimed from local sawmills and reclamation yards across Cornwall. The timbers are picked out by myself and hand crafted into the beautiful looking items of furniture they are made into. No two items are the same due to the woods own shape, grain, and features. The main bulk of wood is 50/60mm thick where as the legs for these items are cut off tree trunks that would otherwise be discarded. They are made into solid, rustic, chunky, items of furniture that will last a lot longer than some leading flat packed brands. We can make just about any item in our rustic range, four poster beds, vivariums, indoor or outdoor tables, benches or coffee tables. So if you have your own ideas or would like something bespoke please email. Treatment All the timber is planed, sanded smooth, scorched, and a coloured dye may be added if required, and finished off with three coats of clear lacquer to create and show off the woods natural beauty. As you will know wood is a natural product, seasoning wood of this size can take a long time, during this process the wood may swell, shrink, split, and warp, this is not a defect of the wood it is normal and will only add to the woods own unique features. Shipping Postage is UK mainland only and can be done in several ways, by couriers, pallet freight, collection, or we can deliver ourselves anywhere in the UK. Some of these items are very heavy and bulky.
