I am the green power source designer from taiwan, let me give some point, maybe the description not so perfect, but i try my best!

1. in the marketing, has 2 major type of generator, one is modified generator, this type is cheap but output voltage not so stable. This is 90% demand on the marketing now.

2. pure sine wave ac output generator, this is new idea for the last 3year in themarketing. This type of generator can offer you very goodwave form & very stable, but price is 2times high.

design point:

inside generator output is ac420v, then will trafer to DC around 380v, then DC TO AC to 220v or 110v through (HF Technology, only 80% efficiency) during the transfer, each step will lose 15% at least, for example: 1000w generator come in, to dc will become 850w, after dc to ac is 850w x 80%=680w The above is still can acceptable, because at least can provide very good wave form & stable voltage.But we still feel something need to be improve:

when you use 3000w output, may offer 5000w rmp(example), but when you use 2500w, maybe still same rmp, but if 2000w output, come down to 4000 rmp.it means sometimes the output demand different, like 20% different, the generator only make 10% difference, cannot exactly match the real watt demand, & where is the rest power? It just gone become heat to get out, that's it.

2. what if you turn off your appliance, but the generator still have basic rmp to run it, & where is the power? just gone? Or if your refridgerator need power every 20 to 30 minutes ,then your generator need keep running 20 minutes without any load. That means we need waste our power for 20 minute.Or if you using water pump to pump your water ,but the pump usually 1 hour to 2 hours will pump itself, but you need keep the generator standby all the time.

From above ,we believe a lot of appliances have same situation ,but we have no idea we just need keep running ,even we know, we are wasting power.

3. Smart generator:

Design idea :AC to DC , save the power to the battery,then through the LF psw inverter (94 % effiency ) DC to AC 110V/220v

Design point:

1.As this is LF psw inverter technology, the effiency can be get more 10% to 15% effiency than HF inverter.

2. Oil and the electronic mix technology,this is come from the car green energy design, means will use the battery power first.If battery power not big enough,the generator will auto turn on by itself to charge your battery, then battery to power inverter to offer your ac source. When your battery is power enough,then generator will turn off by itself. So for example,if you are using a refridgerator, at the begining,the power will come from your battery , however, after for a while low voltage,the generator will turn on itself to charge your battery. So you don't worry how long can your battery can offer power.You just make sure your generator have enough oil. That's it.

3.Backup power for green power. In the day time , if you have solar panel or wind turbine , you can use the green power first. In the night time , if power not big enough,generator will turn on itself to make sure you have continute ac power to use .Why we make this function , because a lot of solar panel user asking us , what about if my solar panel is not big enough ,What can i do? Do i need turn on the generator all the time when i out of the power . Now you don't worry about this kind of problem anymore. Just make sure oil is enough to use.
